I know this is a bit late but I wanted to write to thank you for your support over the summer period. I hope you had a very successful summer season and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of your students next year. Particularly with the pound falling and falling – great news for your students; terrible news for our holidays…
It’s been a couple of weeks since our last centres closed and we are already working hard on summer 2017. As I say every year, we are always looking to improve our offerings and deliver an even more fantastic experience for students next year.
We have collected feedback from students at the centres, and we’ve heard from all of our staff. If you have feedback please do contact me or any of the team. It’s always really important to us as we strive to offer the best possible schools every summer. We’d love to hear from you.
Similarly, is there anything you want us to do in 2017? Are there any programmes you have been asked about that Bucksmore could deliver? Would you like to see any changes to our existing programmes? Are the dates ok? Anything at all that you think would be great for us and for you in 2017. You are the market experts so it’s really important you tell us now. If you ask me in December I won’t be able to do anything! I can’t promise we will be able to deliver what you ask but you now we will always try (as long as it’s sensible!).
While we are talking about 2017, here is a rough breakdown of the material production timetable over the next few months.
Mid-September: prices and dates sent out with brief details of any changes to programmes – we’re looking at changing Bucksmore Summer for example to make it more attractive to students. Mid-late September: 2017 marketing photos, sample timetables, etc all on box.com / our website partner page: www.bucksmore.com/partners. Galleries will also be added to our website very soon with lots of centre photos from the summer. End of September – electronic brochure emailed out. 2 weeks later (roughly) – brochures posted out. Beginning of October – new videos published for Bucksmore Oxford, Arts Choice, Kids, Plumpton, Adventure, Coding in addition to the videos we already have available on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BucksmoreSummer (all the student videos from the summer are already there from Arts Choice and ASP workshops).
The new Homelingua prices and brochure will be sent to you very soon. Don’t forget, Bucksmore isn’t just for summer now… Your students can experience Bucksmore quality all year round.
If you have any students finishing summer schools and looking for an extra week in the week, maybe before starting at a boarding school, why not try a week or two of Homelingua? Perfect way for students to study a really intense programme before school / university, and as you know every single programme is personalised for your student. No summer schools will still be running so it could be a great alternative.
One final thing. If you would like to play an official game made by our Bucksmore Coding students, you can download it here: tinyurl.com/j2z44v5 for PCand on Mac attinyurl.com/zebo736. Our Bucksmore students made this in two weeks and it’s available on the app store to download! Not bad right? And yes, those are Plumpton Counsellors being ‘pooped’ on…
Thank you once again for all your hard work this summer, and indeed for the whole year. Bucksmore wouldn’t be such a successful experience for our students without your help and we do appreciate it.
As ever, don’t hesitate to contact me (or anyone in the team) with comments, feedback or questions about summer 2017 / summer 2016 / Homelingua / marketing materials etc. Enjoy a well-deserved rest (if you haven’t already)!
I look forward to working with you again in summer 2017 (and all the way up to summer 2017 with Bucksmore Homelingua).
