Dear VikiTravel

Sending my regards to you and to all the team at VIKITRAVEL

I write to you today to introduce two new locations available to your students in the event that they cannot return home during the Christmas holidays. Please note that these options are available to ALL students not only to those under our guardianship programme.

Bright World's popular Relax & Revise @ Christmas programme will now be operated in partnership with Kings Education at; Padworth College in Reading and Arts University Bournemouth this Christmas, as we respond to demand from our partner boarding schools and guardianship parents seeking solutions.

Padworth College - 12th December 2020 - 3rd January 2021
Padworth College offers a safe, welcoming solution for students aged 7-17 years and is situated in a picturesque setting in West Berkshire.

Arts University, Bournemouth - 11th December 2020 - 10th January 2021
AU Bournemouth's accommodation is a brand new state-of-the-art residence for students aged 14 years plus that is opening exclusively for our students for the first time at Christmas. Find out more about these offerings within the brochure via the image below.

Covid tests included for students prior to arrival
A pre-arrival Covid-19 test is included in the price of the programme. Tests will be sent to schools by Kings and Bright World, a few days before arrival. Students must have a clear test no longer than 72 hours prior to the commencement of the course. All Kings staff will be tested prior to the arrival of students.

single or twin rooms and household bubbles
All students will be in single or twin rooms. Students will be assigned to a ‘household bubble’ which will form a social group for the duration of the holiday. Each household bubble will be supervised by the same members of staff throughout the stay and household bubbles will avoid mixing with the other households on the centre.

isolation facilities and care if students develop symptoms
A specially allocated isolation unit is provided for all students required to self-isolate during their stay. Should the need for isolation occur towards the end of the Christmas programme, this may mean that students cannot return to their boarding school until they have undertaken a period of isolation. Kings and Bright World will continue to provide isolation facilities for students until the period of isolation has been completed, regardless of when it starts. This will be at our Bournemouth residence if it spans further than 4th January and will be subject to an extra nightly charge.

booking and cancellation deadline - 20th November
Students wanting to book a place at either Centre should book there place by 20th November using our Relax & Revise application form. The same date will also be the last chance to cancel if they change their mind, with parents receiving 80% of their fees back. In the highly unlikely event of total school closures as in March this year and where all students return home indefinitely, we would offer a full refund.

referral fee for partner agents and AEGIS Guardians
A 5% referral fee will be payable to all Bright World partner agents and fellow AEGIS accredited Guardianship Organisations for each student who attends one of our Relax & Revise programmes. AEGIS Guardians and agents who wish to add their logo to a dedicated brochure can do so.

Please do pass these solutions onto parents and agents or speak to me personally if you have any students needing help. I am also available to speak to you by email, phone or zoom if you would like to discuss the options we have available.
