Во время зависания был замечен дым из выхлопных газов двигателя Airbus Helicopters AS355 F1. После приземления также был замечен пожар, и впоследствии загорелась пожарная сигнализация, что заставило пилота активировать систему пожаротушения 2 марта 2021 года.
Во время зависания на высоте 20 футов над уровнем земли был замечен дым из выхлопных газов двигателя Airbus Helicopters AS355 F1. Пилоту сообщили, и вертолет немедленно приземлился. После приземления также наблюдался пожар, впоследствии загорелась пожарная сигнализация, и пилот активировал систему пожаротушения. Пилот выполнил остановочные проверки и покинул вертолет. Травм нет.
Было установлено, что возгорание было вызвано потерей крепления правого бортового выхлопного сопла двигателя, которое вышло из-за отказа его фиксирующего зажима. Освободившееся сопло блокировало выходное отверстие для выхлопных газов за бортом и позволяло горячим выхлопным газам попадать на капоты двигателя, что приводило к локальному перегреву.
Неисправность зажима объяснялась сочетанием неправильной стопорной шайбы, установленной во время обслуживания, и повышенной вибрации двигателя, которая вызвала ослабление зажима. Затем трещина распространялась при малоцикловой усталости до окончательного разрыва зажима.
В результате этого расследования производитель вертолетов принимает меры по обеспечению безопасности и вносит поправки в Руководство по техническому обслуживанию воздушного судна (AMM), подчеркивая правильность установки зажима.

What is the Online Pre-Sessional English Course (PSE)?
We have worked closely with our university partners to develop these programmes in order to help students prepare for their journey into Higher Education. We are now happy to be able to offer them more widely to students who are looking for a clearly structured and academically rigorous online English programme with clear aims and outcomes.
The course is suitable for students who have not applied to university yet, but who may be interested in doing so. The 6-, 12- or 16-week courses are designed to improve student’s academic English and move them from IELTS 4.5 to 6.0 if they follow the full 16-week programme.
The course concludes with the Oxford International English Language Level Test, which has been recognised by the following universities:
· Bangor University
· Coventry University
· De Montfort University
· University of Dundee
· University of Greenwich
· University of Hertfordshire
· University of Roehampton
· University of Sunderland
These universities will use the English Level Test to assess international student’s applications and make offers. On completion of the PSE and passing the test all students can apply to any of these universities if they wish to.
For Students
The course is designed not only for those students considering applying to international universities but will help all students develop the language and academic skills required for their future studies both at home and abroad.
The course will help to improve communication skills, presentation skills, essay writing, interpreting data, note-taking and digital literacy and should be attractive to any student looking for a more structured online academic English programme.
Online Pre-Sessional English Course includes:
· 10 hours classroom time per week
· 10 hours of guided and assessed self-study per week individually and in small groups
· Assessed tasks and study projects
· Pre-course materials and assessment criteria
· Final assessment through the University validated Oxford International English Level Test which can be used to apply for entry to the listed universities
· Minimum age 16
During the webinar we will go over the course in more detail and cover all Key Selling Points to help you promote this course to your students.
