Баксвуд гордится тем, что занимает 9-ое место в Великобритании по результатам экзаменов международного бакалавриата (IB), и поэтому признан центром передового опыта для заведений с небольшим количеством учеников в классе, обучающихся по всемирно признанной программе IB. В рамках испытательной программы IB студенты изучают шесть предметов на протяжении двух лет, а также выполняют три обязательных блока (теорию познания, написание эссе, и мероприятия в сферах Creativity, Activity, Service. Благодаря тому, что диплом бакалавриата являетсе международным, у учеников есть возможность поступить в лубые ВУЗы мира. Многие наши ученики после этой программы продолжили обучение не только в лучших университетах Великобритании, включая такие учебные заведения как Bath, Durham, Warwick, но и Соединенных Штатов Америки, Канады, Австралии, Голландии и Германии. Buckswood is proud to say it has held the rank of 9th in the UK for IB results and, as such, has been recognised as centre of excellence for our small cohorts studying under the globally recognised baccalaureate programme. The International Baccalaureate is a challenging, broad-based diploma where students take six subjects over a two-year period plus The Core (Extended Essay, CAS (Creativity, activity, service) and TOK (Theory of Knowledge)). Due to the internationally recognised nature of the IB, students are able to apply to universities around the world. Many of our recent students have gone on to further study in some of the UK’s best universities including Bath, Durham and Warwick as well as global institutions in the United States, Canada, Australia, The Netherlands and Germany. This flexibility of choice makes studying the IB at Buckswood a very popular option for students, who wish to either remain in the UK or continue their studies in their home country or elsewhere.
