My name is Arushi Tyagi and I am the Agent Sales Executive for BELS - English Language Schools in Malta & Gozo. 

I would like to take this opportunity to send you a brief introduction about us.

The BELS brand is a family business. We have been in the business of teaching English for the past 22 years. We are a small school by choice. We are one of the elite language schools on the islands.

We have two centres:

- Minimum age 16 years all year around (special programme called Young Malta Adult Programme) but with an average age around 23 to 28 years

- Ideal for the student who wants to be well located, but avoid the busy St. Julian’s.

- 14 classrooms, all equipped with air conditioning and interactive whiteboard.

Gozo: The only school that runs all year round in Gozo. It’s Malta's greener, cleaner, more organized sister island, geared towards a more adult audience, seeking tranquillity, seaside walks and escaping busy Malta.

- Minimum age 18 years with an average age around 35 – 40 years.

- 8 classrooms, all equipped with interactive whiteboard and air conditioning.

- the centre is a typical Gozitan terraced house, farmhouse style with a with a unique character, literally a home away from home!

In both schools, all the students are placed in classrooms which are organized according to the result of the English level test of the student. Our guarantee to you is Morning courses & a great Nationality Mix.

Students can choose from General English, Business English, IELTS Exam Preparation & private lessons.

 We have a range of accommodation options for students to choose from. The most popular is the self-catering comfort or superior residences but students can also stay with host families. All our families are licensed by Ministry of Tourism of Malta and well inspected by our staff. 

 Our Junior Camp Program takes place 3 times in the year, Easter, Summer & Autumn. This is an all-inclusive programme for 10 to 16 year olds.

 Our priority is to exceed the expectations of our students by providing quality services and immersion in the Maltese culture. We have an open door policy, to provide interaction with our staff and also help them with all their needs.

The Maltese government announced yesterday evening that all Maltese educational establishments are to be closed for 1 week, with the possibility of extending, depending on the fluidity of the current situation.
 
The measure is being taken to control the spread of COVID-19 in Malta.
 
In order to do our best to deliver our services, just the same, to all in house clients, BELS will be delivering classes through our online learning platform.
Students will be able to see, hear & interact with their teachers & fellow class mates from the comfort of their accommodation.  
 
The above details will be circulated directly to the students, to ensure that their needs and concerns can be addressed quickly & effectively, and thus react proactively to this global extraordinary circumstance.
 
For all clients set to arrive this weekend, the option to postpone their stay or join our online classes has been given.
 
Students set to arrive in the future (unfortunately no end date can be applied to the travel ban at the time of writing), are also being given the possibility to postpone their stay at no extra charge or to convert amount paid to online, group or individual lessons.
 
If you have clients who are currently attending schools in Malta, which are not replacing classroom lessons with digital learning, we are able to take their bookings.
 
BELS remains a serious, humane organisation seeking business continuity, however not at the risk of any client or employee. We are all living and doing our jobs in tough times. This said for everyone’s sake, we are taking the necessary precautions and WILL remain positive … we are transmitting this sentiment to ALL our in-house students; who all feel reassured and are enjoying their time on our islands & at BELS.
