In our Language Summer Camp in the most sunny area of Spain, ALICANTE, juniors will learn Spanish during the mornings and in the afternoon and evenings they will enjoy the amazing Alicante's weather while practicing the language in the activity programme we have prepared for them.

The programme includes:
·2 weeks Spanish course with 4 hours per day (total of 40 hours).
·Maximum of 15 students per group, Average 8- 12
·Accommodation with families / double room / full-board
·Airport-transfer from the Alicante’s Airport
·Activity-programme together with Spanish and international teenagers.

·Every day there will be a specific supervised programme (except for Sundays that is to stay with the host family).
·The activity programme is organized together with Spanish and international teenagers. That way the teenagers practice their Spanish as well outside the classroom.
·Starting dates are in June, July and August: 26/06, 3/07, 10/07, 17/07, 24/07, 31/07, 7/08, 14/08, 21/08. Last day: 27/08/2016
·We offer you a 25% commission on the whole package.
·We offer the 2-weeks-programme for a price of 1.099 EUR (net price: 824,25 EUR)
1st week: 600 EUR (net price: 450 EUR), additional weeks: 499 EUR
(net price: 374,25 EUR)
Programme available from 1 to 9 weeks.
·Supplement for individual room: 40 EUR per week
·Supplement for extra nights: 30 EUR per extra night
·Supplement for arrival or departure out of the established hours (Arrival flight to Alicante between 8:00 to 22:00 and departure flight from Alicante between: 10:00 and 22:00.): 20 EUR.

Gopi Kallayil, the Chief Evangelist, Brand Marketing at Google, who has worked with Google's sales teams and customers and helps grow customer brands through digital marketing, kept MIUC´s invited audience enthralled during his lecture yesterday evening at MIUC´s Marbella campus. Amongst the various topics discussed were the fact that the playing field has been leveled, over the last 15 years or so, through increased access to information to those of differing socio-economic backgrounds and differing countries.
In addition, he discussed the work philosophy at Google, as well as how ideas evolve fr om anywhere, such as how there was first Google maps, followed by street view, and subsequently indoors street view of major public buildings, which led to a famed oceanographer remarking that it was now time to begin mapping underwater as well.
The availability of the Internet, a thing we take for granted, is, he remarked, still unavailable to 5 billion people worldwide. Google is currently working on solutions to this – involving balloons, helium, solar power panels and much more.
Fascinating indeed was the information that our gadgets are learning more, every time, collecting increasing bits of information, and adding these to a central database, to which all devices then have access as well. One thought-provoking example was the Google self-drive car. It already has, he explained, all the components necessary for its success. We learned that 97% of all car accidents are due to human error, and thus Google´s epiphany to create a self-driving car, and removing the driver from the car! Google Maps knows wh ere to go, and the Lidar can determine what is going on several vehicles ahead, by beaming UNDER the vehicles directly in front, such as a van or a truck, for example.

An animated Q & A period then followed, with an ensuing cocktail in MIUC´s reception area.
