Science at Marianapolis
Good afternoon, Future Golden Knights!
As we continue to stay connected with you and your family, we wanted to provide you a brief look into what our Science Department is up to here at MPREP.
Currently, our biology courses are learning about viruses and the science behind them. Specifically, they are researching Delta 32, a genetic mutation that, if given by both parents, made people immune from viruses and diseases such as Smallpox, HIV, and the Plague. Given the global circumstances and what our planet is currently facing, many students have begun to hypothesize if this can also be common with Covid-19?
With Science on the mind, we hope you are Interested in learning more about the intriguing and exploratory opportunities the Marianapolis Science Department offers. You may do just that by joining us for Tuesday Knights with Marianapolis! Each Tuesday in February we will be highlighting a unique program area and will begin with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math on Tuesday, February 2nd.
