What can WHG offer?
Independent Schools – placement and guardianship with students attending over 350 schools in England Scotland and Wales•From Bournemouth since 1991 we have built over 35 local guardianship areas in the UK offering student care for students at the majority of schools in the UK•Boarding School and Day School optionsCultural Experiences for groups an individuals in private and state schools.•These groups come from 1 to 8 weeks and study alongside British students in schools in England and Wales for an experience of UK education.Shrewsbury Sixth Form State College•Two Year ‘A’ Level Course ages 16-19.
•Fees per year £15,664 + £150 registration fee
•Tuition and homestay accommodation – including half terms and Easter break + Guardianship

Day School Option

•For parents who would prefer a cheaper option to boarding•For students who want to experience life in a British host family (long term) as well as attending private school.•Available in many parts of the UK.•Usually 30% cheaper than boarding.•Accommodation and Guardianship fee for 2015/16 is 9408 GBP – All you need to do is add private school day fees.•Other costs are WHG registration fee 135 GBP, school registration fee (depends on school). •All of our staff and host families are DBS checked (police checked).•WHG is accredited by AEGIS and accepted as a partner by Quality English and English UK•Students have weekly contact from a local coordinator/ a personal visit once every 4 weeks.
•Reports back to parents in October/December/April and July from their local guardian
•Each local guardian will have a selection of police checked host families and a private contract with a chauffer company to transport students.
•Rapid response to any situation
•Attendance at parent teacher meetings on behalf of natural parents.
•24/7 emergency system
•Experienced and trained staff at Head Office in Bournemouth and locally across the UK.

Host Families

•Selected based upon students character and interests. Tell us who you would like to live with on page two of our application form.
•3,500 host families in England Scotland and Wales.
•All checked by DBS and inspected regularly by WHG.
•Full board host family placement.
•Integrated as a member of the family.
•Used as and when students like for half terms / exeats or long holidays!
