Academy Students Earn National Merit Recognition for 11th Year
The National Merit Scholarship competition is the single most prestigious academic competition for high school students in the United States. Less than one-half of one percent of all high school students in America are awarded National Merit Scholarship honors.
It is with the utmost pride and honor for our students, faculty, and staff, that we are pleased to announce that Joshua Dweck, from Armonk, New York and Sarah Meadows, from Sisseton, South Dakota have been named qualifying honorees in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship competition. This is the 11th year in Academy history that students have qualified for this prestigious competition based upon top scores earned on the PSAT College Board examination.
The American Hebrew Academy is recognized for its tradition of academic excellence proven by the 32 Academy graduates who have earned National Merit honors in previous years.
