New exhibition in Belfast City Hall. Visit Belfast Welcome Centre
From 16th May 2017, visitors to Belfast City Hall can explore a new visitor exhibition in City Hall's east wing. Stretched over 16 separate rooms, the exhibition offers a journey from the city's past to present, showing the vibrancy and diversity of Belfast City Hall across six themed zones:
Highlights include a chance to view memorabilia including the Titanic table and Covenant table as well as interactive screens where visitors can browse the Lord Mayors portrait collection, Ulster Covenant archive and a street directory of Belfast in 1897.
Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri: 9.30am to 5pm
Thurs: 9.30am to 8pm
Sat and Sun: 10am to 5pm.
Group admission to the visitor exhibition includes a souvenir visitor guide and hire of an audio guide per person, available in 8 languages including English, Irish, Ulster Scots, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Polish.
Group booking capacities
Visitor Exhibition – 30 persons every 15 minutes
Guided Tour – 50 persons every 45 minutes
